2011 is set to be a HUGE year for Captain Horizon and to kick things off we’ve completely revamped our website to coincide with the announcement of our first four months of gig dates. Put them in your diary, you won’t regret it! Starting in the next two weeks, we’ll be starting a blog section featuring input from all band members, behind-the-scenes footage and exciting gossip! What does Alex really think of Whitty? How does Josh maintain his hair’s golden sheen? How is Mez’s cat faring in these difficult times? Answers to none of these questions and less coming right up!
We’re also very proud to announce the new media section of the website. With live footage appearing on a 3D video wall, it makes the vast majority other band websites look like the fingerpainted scribblings of a drunk toddler. Please feel free to get in touch if you capture a video of us you’d like to see up there!
With three battle of the bands victories under our belt in 2010, we’re itching to get back out there this year and show the world we’re the finest unsigned band in existence.
In the meantime, we’re introducing an array of new material into our shows over the next few months which is in turns beautiful, ferocious, catchy-as-hell and crushingly heavy. No two Captain Horizon gigs are ever the same and we work our arses off every time we hit that stage – just look at that sweat fly!
