Captain Horizon are heading into the studio this week to start work on the self titled EP. We will be recording at Vale Studios in Evesham.
We’re really looking forward to getting into the studio and recording the three songs we’ve selected for this EP.
Updates of our progress will be posted on our twitter page throught the week.
We are really excited to announce that work on our three track EP will commence in August. The studio has been booked and the songs have been chosen. The release of the EP is penciled in for October 2009.
Thanks to our Nottingham fans who came and saw us at the Tap & Tumbler, it was a great show in which a lot of new and rare material was played.
Friday 17th July is our next gig at the Pavilion in Leicester, more dates are been confirmed all the time, so check out the gig listings for the up to date schedule.

The band played two brand new songs for the first time, the punchy Jack Herer and the heartfelt ballad Make Believe.

The band have been busy over the past few weeks recording 9 band new tracks and you should be able to hear them very soon.
Finally, Captain Horizon are also confirmed to play at Glastonbudget, Europe’s biggest tribute and new music festival, on Sunday 24th May (check out the Captain Horizon Glastonbudget page!)
