Captain Horizon are an original alternative rock band from the West Midlands. Drawing from a wide range of influences, they write and perform songs that don’t really sound like anyone else. The band are totally committed to creating something new with every song they write, and in the process have carved out a sound entirely their own.

James “Mez” Merrix – drums, percussion
Alex Thomson – bass, backing vocals
To date, Captain Horizon have independently released three EPs and two critically-acclaimed full-length albums through Rocksector Records. With numerous festival appearances and international tours under their belt, the band have built a fanbase from the ground up and cultivated a unique identity in the underground scene.
The band are currently writing their third album and working on further promotional material.
