EP Launch Party at the Actress and Bishop tonight!
Come and join Captain Horizon today, Saturday 30th for the launch of our EP at the Actress and Bishop, next to St Pauls square in Birmingham. We’ll be playing all the tracks from the EP, plus some more and there’ll be support from Sence, The Naked Youth and Dreamers Nightmares. It should be a kicking night – music, beer, champagne and a few awesome bands. And EPs for sale! So come on down, we love packing the place out and it’s awesome to see faces, new and familliar.

Captain Horizon will be featured on BBC Radio WM tonight between 11pm and 12pm on the BBC Introducing show as well as CRMK Online between 10pm-12pm.

Thanks to everyone at the O2 academy 3 last night, we had a great time and it was awesome to see such a great crowd! We were overwhelmed by the response and it really made our night.
Captain Horizon will be appearing at the O2 Academy 3 tonight supporting Doors Alive. Doors open at 7pm, with Captain Horizon on stage at 7:30pm. Admission is £10, if you email tickets@captainhorizon.co.uk we can get you half price on admission.
We would also like to announce that we made it through to the grand finals of the Black Country Battle of the Bands competition, the final is held on Friday 12th February at Base Studios in Stourbridge.
Don’t forget this Saturday it is our EP launch party! We are performing a headline set at the Actress & Bishop in Birmingham, more details on how to obtain tickets will be out early in the week.
Captain Horizon are in the semi finals of the Black Country Battle of the Bands competition (BCbotb), which is going to take place on Friday 22nd January. We will be competiting with 6 other bands for a place in the final.

We’ve been confirmed to play this years Glastonbudget festival and tickets are on sale, you can get your festival ticket from the Glastonbudget website.

Captain Horizon are back on the road this week with the first two dates of 2010. What better way to start the year with two battle of the bands gigs.
Friday 15th will see us participate at the Battle of the Bands at the Railway Hotel in Evesham. Followed by Sunday 17th at the Bank’s Battle of the Bands competion at the New Little Civic.
