The Pavilion This Friday!

Friday night will see us participating in the next round of the battle of the bands at the Pavilion in Leciester.

It’s the semi final round, which means we are one gig away from reaching the final. Your support is vital to us in progressing.

The evening kicks of at around 8pm, so we hope to see you there!

Captain Horizon EP Confirmed

We are really excited to announce that work on our three track EP will commence in August. The studio has been booked and the songs have been chosen. The release of the EP is penciled in for October 2009.

Thanks to our Nottingham fans who came and saw us at the Tap & Tumbler, it was a great show in which a lot of new and rare material was played.

Friday 17th July is our next gig at the Pavilion in Leicester, more dates are been confirmed all the time, so check out the gig listings for the up to date schedule.

You may also notice that the website will be undergoing some changes along with the launch of the Captains Club in which you will be able to get access to exclusive content and talk to us on the Captain Horizon forums. You will also be able to register for email updates.

Tap and Tumbler

Captain Horizon are in Nottingham this Friday playing at the Tap and Tumbler. We’ve also been continually confirming dates for the duration of the year, including dates at the Pavilion and the Shed in Leicester.

News of a three track EP will be announced shortly.

Hope to see you in Nottingham on Friday night. Our merchendise will also be on be on sale.

Tonight the Captain Horizon machine enters Leicester to play in the Silver Bullet Battle of the Bands. It’s the Semi Final heat, which is been held at the Pavilion.

Saturday we roll into Nottingham to peform at the Greyhound in beeston.

Captain Horizon EP

Captain Horizon are due very shortly to record our first EP that is going to be available to the public. Recording is to start very soon.

Amongst ourselves, we are debating which three tracks out of our repitioure we should have feature on the EP.

We would like to know what three songs you would choose to feature on a Captain Horizon EP?

Our next gigs are scheduled for the 12th and 13th June at the Pavilion in Leicester and The Greyhound, Beeston respectively. Details on these dates will be available shortly.

Any minute now we will be trundling off to Glastonbudget 2009!

On our action packed weekend you can catch us this evening at The Pavillion in Leicester, tomorrow evening at The Shed in Leicester, or SUnday evening on the New Acts stage at Glastonbudget! (Check the Upcoming Shows section on the right hand side of the page for more details)

Countdown to Glastonbudget 2009

The countdown has well and truly begun. We’ve been busy preparing for the series of gigs we have coming up this weekend.

Our stage time for Glastonbudget has been confirmed. We will be on the New Acts Showcase Big Top stage at 18:55 on Sunday. Make sure you arrive at the stage in plenty of time to make sure you don’t miss out!

Before our euphoric Glastonbudget set, we are taking part in the Silver Bullet Battle of the Bands at the The Pavilion Venue, Victoria Park, London Road, Leicester on Friday 22nd May and on Saturday, we are also playing at The Shed in Leicester on Saturday 23rd May.

So, it’s going to be a busy weekend for us. We will be camping the weekend at Glastonbudget, so if you spot our banner, please come and say Hi!
