Following their success in their Banks’ Battle of the Bands heat in February, Captain Horizon are through to the semi-finals and the time for battle is almost upon us!
They will be battling two other bands this Saturday, 14th March from 7pm at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall bar.
You can check out the event on Facebook here or add it to your MySpace calendar if that’s your thing.
Tickets can be purchased from the band or through this website for £4 by clicking the shiny ‘Buy Now’ button on the right of the page. Tickets can also be bought on the door on the night for £5.
So come along, it will definitely be worth it. If previous performances are anything to go by it should be one hell of a night, so join us on Saturday evening to rock the hell out of Wolves Civic!

We are coming for you Wolverhampton...
It would also be great to see any new fans there who might have discovered the band on Top Rock Radio. Thanks to them for Captain Horizon’s first ever radio play on Sunday evening, it was awesome! The band are now featured artists on Top Rock Radio so you can request their tracks at any time. Also, in case you missed Sunday’s show and Captain Horizon’s radio debut, the Podcast is now available.
8 days time we will have our Banks’ Battle of the Bands semi final heat at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall Bar. We are really excited!
If you are attending, check out the facebook event, if you can’t attend, don’t forget you can vote for us online!
Tickets are available from us at £4. If you want to have a ticket, either leave us a comment, or send us an email.
Thanks to those who came and supported us last night down the Sheldon Marquee. We had a blast as usual!
Our next gig (at the date of this post) is our battle of the bands date at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall Bar on Saturday 14th March. Details on how to get tickets will be announced shortly. The Captain Horizon membership club will be open shortly, which will give you access to exclusive tracks and promo materials.
We’ve got a few new songs in the pipeline at the moment, which are looking good at the moment and this week will see the process of us completeing some of these new tracks, ready for our next set of gigs.
See you all soon!

Thanks to everyone who came and supported us last night at the Black Horse. Daddy Delux had to pull out, so Captain Horizon headlined the gig with the fantastic Ricardo Thompson supporting.
We’ve also had another gig date added for this Saturday (21st Feb). Which is going to be a headline gig, with support from KINN.
Hope to see you on Saturday down the Sheldon Marquee!
