Captain Horizon are to appear at the Ultimate Battle semi finals at the Railway Hotel in Evesham.
We will be appearing with Dirty Old Folkers in this semi final heat. The evening kicks off at 9pm and is free entry!

Captain Horizon are going to be performing in two battle of the bands competitions this week.
Friday night will see Captain Horizon performing in the second round of the ‘Ultimate Battle’ at the Railway in Evesham. Saturday night see’s Captain Horizon live at the Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton for the Bank’s Battle of the Bands semi finals. As ever you can confirm your attendance with the following facebook events, the Evesham event and the Wolverhampton Event.

Captain Horizon are in the semi finals of the Black Country Battle of the Bands competition (BCbotb), which is going to take place on Friday 22nd January. We will be competiting with 6 other bands for a place in the final.

Captain Horizon are back on the road this week with the first two dates of 2010. What better way to start the year with two battle of the bands gigs.
Friday 15th will see us participate at the Battle of the Bands at the Railway Hotel in Evesham. Followed by Sunday 17th at the Bank’s Battle of the Bands competion at the New Little Civic.

Friday night will see us participating in the next round of the battle of the bands at the Pavilion in Leciester.
It’s the semi final round, which means we are one gig away from reaching the final. Your support is vital to us in progressing.
The evening kicks of at around 8pm, so we hope to see you there!

The countdown has well and truly begun. We’ve been busy preparing for the series of gigs we have coming up this weekend.
Our stage time for Glastonbudget has been confirmed. We will be on the New Acts Showcase Big Top stage at 18:55 on Sunday. Make sure you arrive at the stage in plenty of time to make sure you don’t miss out!
Before our euphoric Glastonbudget set, we are taking part in the Silver Bullet Battle of the Bands at the The Pavilion Venue, Victoria Park, London Road, Leicester on Friday 22nd May and on Saturday, we are also playing at The Shed in Leicester on Saturday 23rd May.
So, it’s going to be a busy weekend for us. We will be camping the weekend at Glastonbudget, so if you spot our banner, please come and say Hi!

A big thanks to everyone who came out to support us at the battle last weekend, and congrats to Signify who are going on to the final! We had a wicked time at our best gig yet, from the first chiming notes of Turn Away to the final stabs that close Poker.
It’s a busy time for Captain Horizon at the moment. Lots of gigs means we’re really getting a handle on our set, and thanks to our audiences we’re having a great time performing it to you. Next week we’re off to the East Midlands for our first out of town gig, where we’ll be playing with the venerable Mars Bonfire (http://www.myspace.com/marsbonfirespace) at the Shed in Leicester!
Then we’re taking three weeks off to work on a new batch of songs, before playing our EP Launch party at the old Wharf on April 25th. It’s gonna be a blast so come down and enjoy yourselves!

Following their success in their Banks’ Battle of the Bands heat in February, Captain Horizon are through to the semi-finals and the time for battle is almost upon us!
They will be battling two other bands this Saturday, 14th March from 7pm at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall bar.

Tickets can be purchased from the band or through this website for £4 by clicking the shiny ‘Buy Now’ button on the right of the page. Tickets can also be bought on the door on the night for £5.

We are coming for you Wolverhampton...
It would also be great to see any new fans there who might have discovered the band on Top Rock Radio. Thanks to them for Captain Horizon’s first ever radio play on Sunday evening, it was awesome! The band are now featured artists on Top Rock Radio so you can request their tracks at any time. Also, in case you missed Sunday’s show and Captain Horizon’s radio debut, the Podcast is now available.

Our next gig (at the date of this post) is our battle of the bands date at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall Bar on Saturday 14th March. Details on how to get tickets will be announced shortly. The Captain Horizon membership club will be open shortly, which will give you access to exclusive tracks and promo materials.
We’ve got a few new songs in the pipeline at the moment, which are looking good at the moment and this week will see the process of us completeing some of these new tracks, ready for our next set of gigs.
