As a result of our performance at The Shed last night, Captain Horizon are going to be playing the Glastonbudget Festival in 2010.
It’s been a great weekend of gigs with a storming set at Route44 on Saturday night with a phenomenal follow up on Sunday at The Shed to secure our second visit to the Glastonbudget festival, in which we’re really thrilled to be a part of.
Those gigs have now concluded our schedule for September 2009. Octobers dates start this Friday in Evesham and Birmingham on Saturday, with our egarly awaited debut for local fans at the Old Oscott Workingmens Club the following week.
Thanks to everyone who came and supported us on the weekend, we would also like to extent our congratulations to our good friends The Sneaks, who also made it on to the bill for Glastonbudget 2010.
Captain Horizon are playing at Route44 in Birmingham on Saturday 26th September and heading up to The Shed in Leicester on Sunday 27th September.
We will be supporting the Handsome Beasts on Saturday night at Route44, with Captain Horizon hitting the stage at around 9pm. Sunday at The Shed is our Glastonbudget 2010 audition.

Josh, Whitty and Mez will be in attendance at the Madhouse bar tomorrow to perform a special acoustic set. It will be a rare opportunity to catch special versions of our songs in a one off performance. Entrance is £3 and starts at 8:30pm.
Captain Horizon will be playing at Route44 on the 26th September supporting the Handsome Beasts and on the following night, Captain Horizon will be playing at The Shed in Leicester.

Captain Horizon are back on the road this Friday, kicking off the second half of our 2009 dates at the Old Wharf in Birmingham.

August we spent time in Vale Studios recording our EP, writing some new material and checking out our favourite bands at various summer festivals.
September dates:

Captain Horizon are heading into the studio this week to start work on the self titled EP. We will be recording at Vale Studios in Evesham.

We’re really looking forward to getting into the studio and recording the three songs we’ve selected for this EP.
Updates of our progress will be posted on our twitter page throught the week.
Captain Horizon have just been confirmed to play at Route 44, The Inn On The Green in Birmingham on Friday 24th July. Captain Horizon will be headlining, with support from Ricardo Thompson.
