Tonight the Captain Horizon machine enters Leicester to play in the Silver Bullet Battle of the Bands. It’s the Semi Final heat, which is been held at the Pavilion.
Saturday we roll into Nottingham to peform at the Greyhound in beeston.

Captain Horizon EP

Captain Horizon are due very shortly to record our first EP that is going to be available to the public. Recording is to start very soon.
Amongst ourselves, we are debating which three tracks out of our repitioure we should have feature on the EP.
We would like to know what three songs you would choose to feature on a Captain Horizon EP?

Madhouse Bar This Friday!

Just a quick note to say we’ve been asked to play The Madhouse Bar at the Madhouse Rehearsal studios in Birmingham.
Siginify are headlining the evening, we will also be playing with Crashpoint and GT-Zero.
The doors open at 7:30 and it’s £4 to get in.

Glastonbudget and Weekend Aftermath

We’ve all arrived back from our mini tour of Leicester and Glastonbudget and had a fantastic time.
Friday night was the first gig at the Pavilion on Leicester, in which we made it through to the next round on the Silver Bullet battle of the bands. The next gig is going to be on the 12th June.
The Saturday night saw us perform at the Shed in an explosive performance that set us up nicely for our set at Glastonbudget on Sunday.
The set at Glastonbudget was awesome and went extremly well! If you have any photos or videos, then please send them to us! If you find any reviews that mention us, please send us a comment!
We would like to thank everyone who helped throughout the weekend, especially Pete, Claire, Hannah, Rob, John, Nicky and Maria for making the whole weekend possible for us.

Any minute now we will be trundling off to Glastonbudget 2009!
On our action packed weekend you can catch us this evening at The Pavillion in Leicester, tomorrow evening at The Shed in Leicester, or SUnday evening on the New Acts stage at Glastonbudget! (Check the Upcoming Shows section on the right hand side of the page for more details)

Countdown to Glastonbudget 2009

The countdown has well and truly begun. We’ve been busy preparing for the series of gigs we have coming up this weekend.
Our stage time for Glastonbudget has been confirmed. We will be on the New Acts Showcase Big Top stage at 18:55 on Sunday. Make sure you arrive at the stage in plenty of time to make sure you don’t miss out!
Before our euphoric Glastonbudget set, we are taking part in the Silver Bullet Battle of the Bands at the The Pavilion Venue, Victoria Park, London Road, Leicester on Friday 22nd May and on Saturday, we are also playing at The Shed in Leicester on Saturday 23rd May.
So, it’s going to be a busy weekend for us. We will be camping the weekend at Glastonbudget, so if you spot our banner, please come and say Hi!
