The Captain Horizon fan club, ‘Captains Club’ is now open! Sign up and you will have access to our forums, mailing list, downloads and a coupon to claim a Captain Horizon T-Shirt for only £5.
Thank to everyone who came to see us at our shows this weekend. This week we’re going to be at Route44 and the Shakespeare at Coventry.
News of the EP will be out shortly, it’s currently in it’s penultimate mixing stage with a view for a November release. There will also hopefully be a pre-release on iTunes.

Wymeswold – Outdoor Gig Today!

This afternoon Captain Horizon are going to be playing at the Three Crowns in Wymeswold. Procedings kick off around 4pm.
A big thankyou to everyone who stayed out late to watch us at the Old Wharf last night. Our next Birmingham gig is at Route44 on Thursday with support from our good friends, I Hate You More.

We’re Back

Captain Horizon are back on the road this Friday, kicking off the second half of our 2009 dates at the Old Wharf in Birmingham.
August we spent time in Vale Studios recording our EP, writing some new material and checking out our favourite bands at various summer festivals.
September dates:
4th September – The Old Wharf, Birmingham
5th September – The Three Crowns, Wymeswold
10th September – Route 44, Birmingham
12th September – The Shakespeare, Coventry
26th September – Route 44, Birmingham
27th September – The Shed, Leicester

EP Recording This Week

Captain Horizon are heading into the studio this week to start work on the self titled EP. We will be recording at Vale Studios in Evesham.
We’re really looking forward to getting into the studio and recording the three songs we’ve selected for this EP.

Route 44 – The Inn On The Green

Captain Horizon have just been confirmed to play at Route 44, The Inn On The Green in Birmingham on Friday 24th July. Captain Horizon will be headlining, with support from Ricardo Thompson.
It’s going to be our last gig till September, so make sure you take this opportunity to come and see us before we have our gigging break and head into the studio record the EP. Our merchandise will be on sale, so take the opportunity to get your T-Shirt, stickers and badges!
