Joshua Watson
Josh was born in 1985 in Irvine, Scotland, and to this day has a silly accent and hair that at best looks windswept and interesting. He didn’t get round to playing the guitar till he was 16, but was transfixed by the whole experience. A songwriter and genuine music lover as much as a guitarist, Josh gets slightly embarrassed by guitar solos yet still puts one in most of the bands songs. This gives a clue as to his personality.
As a music tech graduate, Josh records for fun and can usually be found in Captain Horizon’s studio, working on sounds and song ideas. His influences range from the pretentious (Brian Eno and Steve Reich) to modern hits like Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Incubus and Interpol, and greats such as Led Zep, Pink Floyd and U2.
He is self taught (with help from his friends), and wouldn’t have it any other way.
